EBA

The European Biogas Association (EBA) is a leading organization dedicated to promoting the production and use of sustainable biogas and biomethane across Europe. Founded in 2009, EBA acts as the collective voice for nearly 8,000 stakeholders spanning the entire biogas and biomethane value chain.

EBA’s mission is to advance biogas and biomethane as flexible, sustainable, and cost-competitive energy sources that support Europe’s climate goals, energy security, and circular economy. The association works closely with European institutions, industry partners, farmers, NGOs, and academic institutions to create policies that enable the widespread adoption of renewable gases and organic fertilizers.
