BIOGAS Convention & Trade Fair 2025

The BIOGAS Convention & Trade Fair is Europe’s leading biogas event, bringing together technology providers, plant operators, researchers, policymakers, and investors from across the globe.

This event will take place from December 9 to 11 at Messe Nürnberg in Nuremberg, Germany. The BIOGAS Convention & Trade Fair is recognized as the most important annual gathering for the biogas industry in Germany and one of the key international meeting points for the sector. The event combines a high-level conference with a large-scale trade fair, creating a platform where plant operators, technology providers, policymakers, researchers, and investors can come together to exchange knowledge and explore opportunities.

Key features:

  • Around 250 exhibitors showcasing innovations in biogas, biomethane, plant components, raw materials, and logistics.
  • Over 50 presentations in the main conference (in German and English), an Expert Forum with 35+ sessions with real-time translation.
  • Topics will address both national (German) and EU-level policy issues.

Over three days, participants will explore the latest innovations, regulatory developments, and business opportunities shaping the biogas and biomethane sector. The convention program will address the latest political and regulatory developments in Germany and the European Union, while the exhibition will showcase a broad range of solutions from plant technology and upgrading systems to feedstock logistics and sustainable applications of biogas and biomethane.

Following the main convention, attendees can join an exclusive educational trip on December 12.
